Pro Patria's owner developed the initial requirements for these shotgun kit's while a platoon sergeant in the 10th Mountain Division during the summer of 2001. Since then the requirements have been refined with in put from end users and field tested in CONUS training, operational deployments and is now in testing with law enforcement trainers and agencies. Pro Patria's objective is to provide the gear to make your units issue shotguns best meet your requirements.
Our core products have been safety certified for use by the U.S. Army.
Breaching Barrels
Dedicated breaching barrels provide agencies a FAILSAFE method of insuring that the proper standoff is achieved for breaching.
Additional features of the breaching barrels:
- Barrel/breaching unit is of one piece construction. This eliminates the brakeage that is occasionally experienced with some after market conversions of standard barrels.
- Breaching unit prevents unsafe over pressure from blowing the barrels which is occasionally encountered with standard barrels.
- The teeth on the end of the breacher prevent the unit from “skating” when planting the barrel for a breach.
- The barrel features heavy barrel wall construction further reducing the possibility of an over pressure related barrel failure.
- Bead sight is standard.

The Breaching LITE is an evolution in lighting systems specificly targeted for the Military or Law Enforcement Breacher. Earlier efforts used fellow soldiers IR or white tactical lights which caused shadows for the breacher. Most weapons lights would present to much light for the breacher and wash out the breach. With the Breachers LITE just enough light is supplied to illuminate the breach point.
