Almost as soon as the M-110 SASS, with its 20-inch barrel and fixed/adjustable buttstock, saw combat with the Army, a call for a shorter variant came from vehicle mounted troops and soldiers in urban combat areas. The M-110 Carbine (M-110C) configuration that resulted is a compact variant of the full-size M-110 SASS featuring a 16-inch (406mm), chrome plated, free floating barrel that is externally dimpled to reduce weight while retaining accuracy through optimization of barrel stiffness. The rifle-length URXIII MIL-STD 1913 rail system. Both right- and left-handed shooters will appreciate the full ambidextrous controls for the safety/firing selector, magazine release, and bolt release that compliment the new drop in 2-stage match trigger and combat trigger guard. Other features include 45º Off-Set micro-adjustable folding sights, an integrated rear sling attachment, and a 10-position adjustable sliding buttstock. Like the M-110 SASS, the M-110C offers a durable, terrain matching tan finish to meet Army requirements
    current theater of operations.

M110K1 conversion kit for the M110 is NSN 1005-01-601-1835.

By popular demand, we combined the best of both worlds. We took the popular PredatAR frame and upgraded it with the highly-accurate and sought-after OBR barrel and famous PSTTM gas operating system.

  • The H&K 417 and G-28 Marksman Rifle

Variations of the 417 like Germany's G-28 are in use world wide as Designated Marksman Rifles:

    From H&K Website:

    G28 | A DMR-System – far more than just another rifle with a scope

The G28 is a military version of the civilian semi automatic competition rifle MR308. Deployed in the established 7.62 x 51 calibre, the “Designated Marksman Rifle” (DMR) ensures accuracy of 1.5 MOA whilst enabling a full night fighting capability.  Providing a maximum effective range and a high first round hit probability up to 600 meters, the G28 will also allow suppressive fire against man size targets accurately up to 800 meters.

With its green/brown (RAL8000) tone, the G28 offers a camouflage colour scheme that is being accepted around the world. An additional conversion kit supports user and mission specific requirements where the G28 can be configured to a Patrol version and be used as a Assault rifle.

Accuracy firing with a prototype 12-inch barreled HK417 carbine and 10X optical sight was conducted with user representatives using US M118LR ammunition. Firing multiple 3-shot groups at 100 - 500 yards lines, the average group size for all four shooters was 1.3 MOA from an HK417 carbine with 12-inch barrel!
